Fire and EvacuationBack to the top

Fire Alarm Tests

No action is to be taken - there will be regular tests of the fire system. Tenants will be notified in advance of these tests and the Assembly point

The evacuation assembly point is located by the electrical substation, between the main gates and Osmaston Road.

Fire drills

Fire drills will be conducted biannually.

Access ProcedureBack to the top

Keys

You have been issued with a single set of keys for the building and your unit. One of these keys is for the personnel door at the south end of the pitlane. This is the only out-of-hours entry and exit point of the building. The other two keys give you access from the pitlane to the atrium and the front door of your unit.

ANPR barriers

The site is protected by our ANPR barriers during our core business hours. They will open for a vehicle displaying a front number plate. Visitors will be charged at the rates clearly displayed on signs around the carpark.

There are rate reductions available for visitors. These are accessed through the tablets located in the café and at reception.

Tenants are entitled to two parking spaces on site free of charge. Staff vehicle registrations must be submitted to the Operations Lead. More than two vehicle registrations can be submitted, but any cars over the two complimentary cars will be charged during our core business hours and no guarantee is given for available spaces.

Main Gates

- Our main gates are locked with Master Lock Bluetooth padlocks out of our core business hours. If you require out-of-hours access to site, the Operations Lead will set you up with the app needed to unlock the padlocks.

Alarm

The alarm is armed and disarmed using the alarm fob provided. The fob must be held on the "Tag" sign on the keypad until the Armed/Disarmed message appears on the screen. If arming the alarm, you must then leave the building within 30 seconds through the pitlane door.

At present, the monitored CCTV system disarms at 07:00 and arms at 17:15 on weekdays. If you require access outside of those hours, please inform the Operations Lead. A call/text message will be required once you have left and locked the main gates, in order to arm the CCTV monitoring.

FacilitiesBack to the top

Toilets/showers

Staff toilets are located off the corridor from the pitlane to the atrium. The code to get back into the pitlane is C4129X. We also have two showers and a changing area located next to the male toilets. Shower gel is provided free of charge.

Wash station

Located just before the first door in the corridor to the atrium, the wash station has Swarfega heavy duty soap, barrier cream and after work cream. The health and safety of you and your staff is important to us, so please use all the products provided when necessary.

Power

All units are provided with single phase power. There are double sockets provided in the dado rail.

Any additional sockets or spurs can be fitted to the dado rail, but we do require them to be installed by a professional and to be tested and certified before use.

Water

- There are taps available at the wash station. If you require larger containers filling, we have an outdoor tap located next to the roller shutter for the Detailing Bay, at the northern end of the pitlane.

Waste

Bins are located in the blue shed at the southern end of the building. We are passionate about minimising our impact on the environment, both local and global, so sorting your waste into the correct bins is important to us, and we appreciate your support on this matter.
